Antes que todo en el día de ayer domingo
recibiría una llamada telefónica de parte de la Sra. Mirna González, unas de
las hermanas mayores de Bismarck, en horas de las 12:45 de la tarde; pensé que
a Bismarck le había pasado algún inconveniente en cuanto a su salud pero eso no
fue así; sino me estaba comunicando por parte de el; que pasara por casa en
Vista Alegre con motivo de la conmemoración de los 100 años del inicio del
Escultismo en nuestro país, y que en el fondo de todo aquello es que me tenía ¿Varias sorpresas? para que retirara y me hiciese responsable en custodiar, la
Espada "San Jorge" de las promesas cuando del Grupo Ser 77; luego más tarde me haría entrega de sus 4 tacos en insignia de Madera, y sobre todo que me hiciese también el Edecán de algunos libros en especial; invitación que aceptaría con mucha
responsabilidad y que me veía tal vez obligado en después de todo; fue
una experiencia en el día de hoy lunes 27 de mayo de 2013, en
donde todo fue muy grato con Bismarck, estuvimos conversando sobre la
importancia, las experiencia y los viejos recuerdos que nos embarga cuando
éramos scout, -“Fuimos o lo seguimos siendo” replica que decía Bismarck aquella
tarde muy insistentemente, y que con todo esto también incluyera un Almuerzo
con los miembros de la Familia González.
Ahora bien la importancia o el interés de todo esto es lo siguiente; imagínese
si retrocediéramos 100 años atrás tan simple como esto para verlo más claro o
entenderlo; todo comenzó con una pequeña historia muy bonita por un muchacho
Maracucho de unos 14 años de edad, quien se encontraba con su familia pasando
unos días de vacaciones en la isla de Curazao; en donde allí presenció un
desfile de un Grupo Scout, en donde se trataba de la Tropa Pathfinders de
Holanda; luego aquel muchacho regresaría a Maracaibo con la ilusión de formar
un Grupo igual como el que había visto allá en la isla de Curazao. Al principio
motivaría a todos sus amigos cercanos y adyacencias por donde el viviría con sus
padres en pleno centro de la ciudad, muy cercano a la barriada del saladillo;
así con esta idea tan incomprensible para en aquel entonces, en donde uno de
ellos captó la idea, quién fuera el mismo el hijo de un diplomático Colombiano
de unos 10 años de edad, quién le pone en sus manos y le obsequia un libro
Scout original, titulado “Handbook For Boys” escrito por el mismo Baden Powell
fundador de aquel Movimiento de muchachos pero editada en Ingles, luego allí
comenzaría a desarrollar todo aquello pero ya ilustrado y llevándolo al hecho
mismo; empezando en formar así la primera Patrulla de Boys Scout en Venezuela
en el estado Zulia, para en aquel día martes 27 de mayo de 1913,
durante cuando los tiempos del General Juan Vicente Gómez; luego harían una
pequeña Excursión, hacia el noroeste de las afueras de la ciudad de Maracaibo,
exactamente hacia el “Cerro del Diablo”.
Los antecedentes y las circunstancias en Venezuela cuando Ramón Ocando Pérez
sería el primer scout en nuestro país para el año de 1913, es para finales del
mismo año se fundan los del Paraguay, y que para el año siguiente lo haría los
Mexicanos; y es de notar que anteriormente ya se habían fundado el movimiento
Escultistas por los países según el orden, en la Argentina, Chile, Estados
Unidos, Trinidad y Tobago; por lo que ya habían Grupos Scout.
Cuando yo empecé dentro del movimiento Escultista, con mi asistencia hacia mi
primer evento nacional con el Campamento Nacional de Patrullas “CANAPAS 80” en
el estado Trujillo, el mismo fundador del Escultismo en Venezuela, lo llegaría
a conocer al mismo aquel Maracucho, en donde para en aquel momento ya contaba
con la edad de 81 años de edad, y que tan solo su presencia como privilegio en
haber acampado con el o me llegaron a creer tal vez no se o tengo mis dudas, en
que no le daría mucha o tanta importancia, que hasta ni me interesó como se
llamaba o de quién se trataba, y que hoy por hoy me pesa pero sin afectarme en
el fondo y hasta ya lo fue superado, pero que todo esto tan solo este pedacito
que les estoy narrando, también me recuerda mucho cuando estaban con migo, mi
propio hermano Wilmer Díaz el “Primer Patrullero”, y al desaparecido Luís
Santiago, mi primo el “Sub-guía de la Patrulla Búfalo”. Pero la vida luego me
recompensa un poco más adelante cuando lo volvería a ver, al mismo fundador de
los Scout ahora en Caracas, con la celebración por los 75 años de aniversario
del Escultismo, durante la semana scout en una invitación, con una fogata en el
Colegio “San José de Calasánz” en la Urbanización Lomas de Urdaneta de Catia.
Fue cuando lo vi nuevamente, allí sentado al lado de sus familiares y entre
amigos compartiendo alrededor de aquella gran fogata, ahora un poco más viejo
pero sabiendo ahora en conocimiento en saber que fuera el mismo “Ramón Ocando
Pérez”.
Mis Queridos y buen Amados Amigos como de toda la vida, Hermanos Scout todos,
quienes tuvimos aquella gran fortuna en pertenecer y que aun permaneceremos con
tal vez en una sola idea por siempre en seguir practicando “Escultismo” y para
los que siguen en su empeño y perseveran aun, mis mejores deseos en darles toda
la suerte del mundo, y quienes ya no estén con nosotros, de igual manera estos
100 años de Escultismo serán también y a su vez para recordarlos cuando estaban
en vida. Bienvenidos a este pequeño refugio como página virtual scout del Grupo
“Ser Selvático 77”. Así que se les invita muy reiteradamente durante todo
el transcurso de sus vidas, y que se les quiere a todos y todas por siempre.
